This successful TV Magazine series aimed at light truck enthusiasts ran for 5 years. A cross between automotive adventure, event coverage and useful information, each episode centered on host Ed Bruce driving his pickup across the USA to meet fellow enthusiasts. We attempted to find and exploit an entertaining hook for each destination, as you'll see in the opening of this episode as Ed arrives in the old west, mining town of Goldfield, Arizona.

Cannonball One Lap Of America |
This unique event, the heir to the legendary Cannonball Run, is spread over 6,000 miles and 8 consecutive days and nights. To capture the craziness of this grueling competition, the great characters and the epic nature of this automotive marathon we put together numerous camera teams who worked in shifts both day and night for essentially 10 days straight.

Before Drew Carey's "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" we worked with a talented troupe of improvisers, the Back Alley Players, to bring their unique brand of comedy to television. The result was 2 one-hour specials with a number of entertaining improv 'games' that rely on audience input and a lot of laughter.

Most every "TV documentary" is either scripted or planned with a foregone story arc and conclusion. We successfully produced this exciting weekly series, which aired for two years, in the style of a true documentary-capturing an event from a particular perspective without knowing the outcome.
